Indian Pilots Questioned in Maldives
The Maldivian government expressed concern over the capability of Indian pilots as a statement released today stated that the Indian pilots lacked the necessary skills , training and qualification of the Indian pilots , this criticism comes amid bilateral talks between Maldives and India in the aviation sector ,As Maldives have been assisted in various areas of aviation by providing training to pilots and aircraft the resent criticism may have serious repercussions’ however the Indian government and it’s aviation authorities have still not responded to the remarks made , The issue may also cause a review of training certification of pilots and safety standers to ensure the validity of the statement made by the Maldivian government
After the social boycotting by Indian tourist earlier this year , which lead to a Sever loss in Maldives Tourism revenue the Maldivian Government may certainly want to maintain growing bilateral relations with India as they played an important role in the development of Maldives both economically and politically
