Scammer Impersonates as Indian Army Major to commit Real Estate Fraud ! Targeting landlord and developer
In a series of Visits to Lavish flats in and around Bandra west (Mumbai ) a fraudster named Tushar Dinesh Parmar aged 24 years who impersonated as an Indian major of the 9th Para SF 58 battalion , along with his accomplish which include middle aged ladies portraying as immediate relatives made purchase offers to buying the flats from their owners and a prestigious builder , Their modus operandi was to give hefty token amount by means of cheques , in this case starting as low as 50 Lakhs up to 9 Cr . In spite of knowing that the cheques would bounce . Tushar Dinesh Parmar and his accomplish were not hesitant in writing out the cheques and completing paper work , However the whistle was blown when two Agents Neha D’souza and Dolphy D’souza visited the builder’s office for a discussion on the credibility of the fraud Client Tushar Dinesh Parmar , With the pretext of handing over a set of property documents on early Saturday night , the Real Estate agents and the Bandra Police nabbed Tushar Dinesh Parmar . On interrogation it was discovered that Tushar Dinesh Parmar sent photos of him self dressed in a major’s uniform through social media and had fake edited screen shots of ATM balance to show his fund proof . It was further realized that Tushar Dinesh Parmar had done all of this to procure the copies of the property document as he would later manipulate the same and raze loans on the properties
Surprisingly the Fraudster Tushar Dinesh Parmar was later released with a warning and his details were taken , as he returned a borrowed sum back to the builder
